Facebook Toolbar for Firefox is a free extension for Firefox which allows you to extend your Facebook experience into your everyday browsing.
Search Box allows you to easily search Facebook no matter where you are. Select a friend from the dropdown to go directly to their profile, or press "enter" to see the search results.
Get notified
Icon on the toolbar tell you how many new pokes, friend requests, messages, event invitations, and you have a group invitation.
Pop-up box will notify you when your friends update the status and profile, upload new photos, new notes, or interact with you on Facebook.
Click the icon to open the Facebook friends sidebar and check your friends' profile pictures and status, along with convenient links to interact with them on Facebook. You can sort by the name of your friends or by recently they updated their status or profile.

Share button allows you to share the page you are currently browsing by sending to friends or post to your profile.
Note: Firefox pop-up blocker may prevent the download of opening the box. To fix this, follow the instructions below:
- See the message at the top of your browser that says "Firefox has prevented this site from asking to install software ..." In the right corner there is the "choice".
- Click on "Options" button to see the "Allow Sites" pop-ups
- Click "Allow" on the site and close the popup developers.facebook.com
- Click the download button again to install the toolbar.
